The Inland Waterways Helmsman course (IWHC) is aimed at the novice or the boating enthusiast wishing to formalise and/or expand their knowledge. It is suitable for those with little or no previous experience of river crafts.
Introduction to the Tidal Thames Course

The aim of this Diesel Engine Maintenance course is to help prevent you breaking down. If you have mechanical problems, this course will teach you how to go about getting started again.
VHF (DSC) Radio Course
This course is a requirement for anyone who wants to use a marine VHF DSC radio, it is suitable for experienced boaters as well as novices. It covers both basic marine band VHF operation and Global Maritime Distress and Safety System GMDS
First Aid Course
This First Aid course follows the RYA syllabus and is designed to provide a practical working knowledge of First Aid for all sailors and motor cruisers, particularly those taking small craft offshore up to 60 miles from a safe haven.
