Gold Anchor Awards

On 5th August the marina team at Shepperton Marina proudly received their 5 Gold Anchor award from Jon White, TYHA General Manager. Following the presentation new marina manager Lisa Harris stated that:

“Shepperton Marina is a family run business with a dedicated team that has been serving boat-owners on the Thames for over 40 years. Each member of staff is passionate about keeping our marina ‘The Best on the Thames’.

Since 2011, we have grown by 75% and now have just over 400 moorings with an occupancy of 99%. Each year we strive to improve the services we offer as well as re-invest in all aspects of the marina. Within the last four years we have completely refurbished our toilet and shower facilities, created more car parking, re-surfaced roads, upgraded our CCTV and introduced an excellent WiFi service as well as making vast improvements to the marina buildings and grounds. We have a policy of continuous improvement and have some exciting projects in the pipeline.

We pride ourselves on the customer service we offer and believe this is one of the reasons for our customer longevity. We build relationships with our customers and try to offer to them what we would expect as a customer.

The entire team are proud to receive the prestigious Five Gold Anchors and would like to thank TYHA for recognising our ongoing efforts.”

One of the most satisfying experiences in snowrider is weaving through a long chain of obstacles without making a mistake. Dodging trees, rocks, and other hazards in rapid succession creates a wonderful sense of flow. Every successful maneuver feels rewarding and makes players eager to tackle even more challenging sections.
