Craneage & Hard Standing
We have one of the biggest cranes and hard standing areas on the River Thames.
Craneage
Operated by our own fully-trained staff, from Mondays to Fridays throughout the year (weather permitting during the winter months) we have one of the biggest cranes on the River Thames and can lift boats up to 22 tons. Whether it is for a lift, chock onto our hard standing (20 ton limit), for a survey prior to purchasing a boat, for an insurance claim, or for lifting on or off transport – Shepperton Marina can take any of these requests in our stride.
*Please be aware Shepperton Marina do not lift wooden vessels or vessels with keels.
Hard standing
For storage and access to boats out of the water, we have a large hard standing area that caters for vessels up to 53ft. We provide electric hook up via a 'Smart Card (pre pay) Metering System', exclusively for the use of power tools during daylight hours (9am - 5pm). During the winter months, our hard standing is very popular and we strongly recommend booking in advance.
